- Always using fresh ingredients In the summer, a shortlist of ten nominated restaurants is announced and a panel of experts will choose the winner.
In addition, readers of Leven In Frankrijk can vote for their favorite restaurant. The festive ceremony takes place in September. The winner gets the award and it is widely promoted through various media, plus an in-depth report in the winter issue of Leven in Frankrijk. Bistrot Neuf has won the 2017 edition! The French Ambassador, Philippe Lalliot, awarded this year’s prize to Rex Neve, owner of Restaurant Bistrot Neuf: “The constantly renewed card is surprising every time.
