Bistrot Neuf on Haarlemmerstraat 9 stands for honest and recognizable delicious French food. Cozy and uncomplicated dining with wine as the basis. In other countries this formula is well known such as in Italy with its Trattoria/Enoteca, Spain with the famous Tapas and of course the French bistrot Bar-a-Vin. We are one of the few establishments in the center of Amsterdam to serve a 'warm lunch' all day. Our kitchen is therefore open continuously in the afternoon. The menu consists of French classic dishes, using the season and availability of products. All snacks and dishes at “Neuf” are traditional and without fuss.
Bistrot Neuf has one of Amsterdam's most extensive wine lists, featuring approximately 400 varieties. Additionally, guests have the delightful option to order up to 65 wines by the glass. We proudly showcase a selection of the finest wines from around the Old World, with a special emphasis on France. Each week, we uncork a unique wine for exploration and sharing with our patrons. Bistrot Neuf caters to two types of guests; whether you prefer to indulge in a leisurely evening savoring Neuf's delectable French offerings or opt for a quick bite at the bar or table, we have something to suit every palate.
The kitchen is open every day until 11 p.m.: from Monday to Thursday you are welcome from 4 p.m. and at the weekend from 12 noon. All dishes can be ordered throughout the day, so you can also join us for a late (warm) lunch. Neuf is centrally located, right in the center. Do you have to catch the plane? Amsterdam Central station is a 5-minute walk away and the train to Schiphol takes 15 minutes. Bistrot Neuf is located in one of the nicest streets in Amsterdam, the Haarlemmerstraat. Here you will find all kinds of unique clothing stores, boutiques and eateries where you can enjoy yourself all afternoon. Guests are always welcome for a drink, small snack or extensive dinner. We serve many fine wines by the glass and we have more than 250 types of wines in house. Are you looking for a wine that you can't find on the menu? Step into our neighbors Chabrol; they have everything you are looking for!
