Increasing infections, new measures and urgent advice to wear face masks in all public places. We can say that we are experiencing a historic year together. Whether we are struggling? Oh yes for sure. Nevertheless, we’ll keep working as happily and safely as possible to keep doing what we love to do most. Especially for this reason, we have the new adjustments with advantages to perhaps make this drizzly period a bit sunnier for you:
The restaurant closes at 10:00 PM
This means that reservations cannot be made after 8:00 PM and that we can all go to bed on time for enough sleep, which is important for our immune system. A selection of the effect of a bad night’s sleep:

This means more space at and around the table and more time for our guests. Of course not very favorable from a business point of view, but the fact that our guests experience the extra space as very nice is also worth a lot to us. And the lockdown has made us realize again how nice it is to be able and allowed to receive guests at all in our restaurant, be it 30 or 60.
Maximum 4 guests at the table
With a smaller group you really experience the evening together. No more conversations that you get with half an ear and everything and everyone within reach. Quality time with your table companions and being able to discuss one topic together is also worth something!
We have been urged to wear face masks in all public areas. Yes, it takes some getting used to but if we can protect ourselves and our guests, we are happy to wear it! We are living in a new era, where such solutions may help reduce the number of infections and prevent further escalation. We can and certainly want to contribute to this.
